DKC Drugstore LLC, in collaboration with EduJourney, organized Challenges Around Implants in the Esthetic Zone, a scientifically structured continuing education program focused on the biological, surgical, and prosthetic determinants influencing esthetic outcomes in anterior implant therapy. The event was attended by approximately 25 dental professionals.
The academic content addressed critical topics including hard and soft tissue management, socket preservation and ridge maintenance protocols, Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) principles and clinical application, peri-implant soft tissue stability, and prosthetic determinants of esthetic predictability in the anterior zone. Emphasis was placed on evidence-based decision-making and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
The program was delivered by Dr. Bassam Rabei, Prosthodontist, and Dr. Alejandro Vivas-Rojo, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. The scientific agenda consisted of structured lectures, case-based analysis, interactive Q&A sessions, and supervised hands-on training designed to translate theoretical concepts into clinical practice.
The course was DHA approved, and participants were awarded CME certificates upon completion. The focused academic setting encouraged meaningful discussion and professional exchange throughout the session.
This collaborative educational initiative reinforced the importance of biologic principles, surgical precision, and prosthetic integration in achieving predictable Esthetic outcomes in implant dentistry.
